Alesandra Nájera

Alesandra Nájera develops and implements grantmaking programs and strategies to support and defend investment in water infrastructure. She has also led Water Foundation efforts related to water affordability, safe drinking water, groundwater management, and water efficiency at the state and federal levels. She is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Water Solutions Network. Previously, Alesandra was a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and Congressman John Garamendi. Prior to her time on the Hill, Alesandra served as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Graduate Fellow at the Department of the Interior. Alesandra received both B.A. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University, while also working at Joint Venture Silicon Valley.
