Elizabeth Hankins is responsible for stewarding outgoing grants and contracts from proposal development through active management and closeout. She works with program team members and external partners to ensure alignment across the organization, its network, and its projects. Elizabeth previously spent more than a decade managing investments at the Gates Foundation, with portfolios ranging from agricultural development and global health to U.S.-based work on data and AI. As a person at the center of systems and processes, Elizabeth strives toward simplicity and transparency, with the ultimate goal of empowering others to do their best and most important work. She holds a MPA degree from Seattle University, and a B.A. from the University of Washington.
