Jim Lochhead has had a diverse career in both public and private sectors, including as an attorney who built a national water law practice, as Denver Water’s CEO, and as executive director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, and the Colorado governor’s representative on interstate Colorado River operations. He is the recipient of the Wayne N. Aspinall Water Leader of the Year award from the Colorado Water Congress, the President’s Award from the Colorado Foundation for Water Education, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the President’s Award from the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies. He has served on numerous non-profit boards.
