Sarina Dayal develops partnerships and resources for the Water Foundation. Previously, Sarina synthesized philanthropic data into meaningful, actionable knowledge at Candid. They also co-founded the Participatory Grantmaking Community, a space working to reimagine philanthropic practice in a way that democratizes power. Sarina has also worked in landscape design and urban planning at the City of Anaheim, and has roots in community organizing in housing, land, and queer justice spaces. Sarina holds a B.S. from the University of California, Davis, where they studied sustainable environmental design and Middle East/South Asia studies.
