Suzanne Lee leads all fundraising activities and operations at the Water Foundation, ensuring the organization and its programs have sufficient resources to achieve their goals. With more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit and public sector, Suzanne previously was the director of institutional giving at American Jewish World Service (AJWS), managing the partnerships between AJWS and its institutional supporters. She has also overseen the institutional fundraising efforts for both community-based and international organizations, including YAI, one of the largest providers of services for people with developmental disabilities in New York State; Equality Now, a legal advocacy women’s rights organization; and Community-Word Project, a NYC-based arts education organization. She also served two years in the Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa, and graduated from Rutgers University.
