Table members come to water with different perspectives and areas of funding interest. The Table is a platform to share those perspectives, learn from one another, and develop and advance collaborative strategies and investments.
As a forum for funders to learn together, align resources, and take action on water, the Water Table has helped direct hundreds of millions of philanthropic dollars.
We strengthen water philanthropy in three ways:
- Shape and align strategies: Develop ambitious, multi-year strategies in partnership with the field.
- Facilitate learning and collaboration: Cultivate a peer-learning environment that fosters trusting relationships, so that our members can candidly discuss needs, questions, interests, and aspirations.
- Mobilize additional resources for water: Bring new funders and funding to water to build a coordinated field that can deliver solutions at scale.
The result is better collaboration, smarter investments in the field, and maximum impact.
One way the Water Table is mobilizing water philanthropy toward aligned investment is the Water Solutions Fund, which seeks to influence billions in federal infrastructure toward shovel worthy projects that are transparent, equitable, and effective. Learn more about the Water Solutions Fund here.
