The Water Table is a funder collaborative established in 2015 that delivers coordinated resources for durable, equitable water systems and policy change in the US. Table members come to water with different perspectives and areas of funding interest. The Table is a platform to share those perspectives, learn from one another, and develop and advance collaborative strategies and investments.
As a forum for funders to learn together, align resources, and take action on water, the Water Table has helped direct hundreds of millions of philanthropic dollars.
The result is better collaboration, smarter investments in the field, and maximum impact.

One way the Water Table is mobilizing water philanthropy toward aligned investment is the Water Solutions Fund, which seeks to influence billions in federal infrastructure toward shovel worthy projects that are transparent, equitable, and effective. Learn more about the Water Solutions Fund here.
We’re living in a time of unprecedented environmental, social, and climate opportunities and challenges. The common denominator is water. It’s the life blood for every species on the planet, a factor in both climate adaptation and mitigation, and access to it remains a hardship for many. Now is the time for a coordinated strategy to ensure a positive water future.
As water philanthropy’s forum for collective learning and action, the Water Table has aligned over $500 million toward solutions that will help secure a resilient and equitable water future in the US. Our members learn about, strategize for, and activate across a range of systemic water issues. Collaboration is what we do. The result is smarter investments for maximum impact.
